Howdy,

I thought I would tell everyone about NutureArt non-profit. They are a GREAT organization, they really help artists with getting curators to see their work.  For example, they have curators give a talk and then allow artists to show their work to that curator--unheard of here in NY!  Get on their registry, they do not "curate" the registry like White Columns, it's open for all: http://www.nurtureart.org/.  ...like everything else in Williamsburg, they will eventually get to big for their britches and probably start to limit the number of artists.

While you are at it, apply for White Columns registry, you never know--curators from all over the earth look at that registry for new artists.  I heard one gallery owner saying that is a good way to curate a show, based on that registry  http://registry.whitecolumns.org/
